With a few setbacks, some water, and lots of snacks we set out on the adventure of a lifetime. Let the adventure begin!
First stop – Great Wolf Lodge in Wisconsin Dells. Thank you Uncle C and Aunt H! The hotel was just ok but the waterslides were great!
March 9th First real campsite (an easy one, a pull-through site) at the Kickapoo State Recreation Area in eastern Illinois – 40.135488, -87.736960. We set up after dark (not recommended) and drove in the wrong way, but it made for some good reversing practice as there were only two other campers there. No water.
