We arrived at our friends’ house just south of the Kentucky border after dark but they welcomed us, guided us in, and filled up our water tank.
The kids really enjoyed playing with these two friendly dogs, it’s all they could talk about on the drive down from Illinois.
April showed us her chicken tractors along with the myriad improvements and projects. We enjoyed some wonderful meals together as well as lawn surfing.
We would have loved to stay longer but alas, we got on the road a couple days behind the (optimistic) schedule.
