We enjoyed an unplanned stop here for an afternoon, and are so glad we did. We took the shuttle and hiked the Queen’s Garden and Navajo Loops. These trails were just so fun as we went along narrow paths, through carved-out doors, and under Ponderosa Pines that smell like butterscotch if you get close and sniff. The hike ended with switchbacks up a steep canyon where we were immersed in the color orange.
We would have loved to spend more time here, but since Bryce is at higher elevations, the nights are too cold for us to camp here this time of year.

Erin was so happy to purchase this donkey hat at a gas station on the way to Bryce!
