The first spot was a rare-berry farm, near Helena. You’ve probably never even heard of the different fruits this lady had, so I won’t list them for you (well, you might know if you talk to my mom at all;). The owner suffered many hardships in her berry career, a freezer that went out and like $2,000 worth of berries ruined was the most memorable to me. Mom maybe had her berry farm dreams questioned? We had a nice stay and it felt good to support someone who had our same dreams and hopes! In Helena we got some maintenance work done on our vehicles. The camper got new tires and the van got an overdue oil change! Dad thought we had better get new tires asap since we still had quite a bit of Montana and the Dakotas to drive through.
Next, we zoomed off (with our new tires:) to Greycliff Mill. It was a very interesting place, a harvest host at that! It was built of a community living and working together. They had a very large ranch (I feel like a lot of people do in MT), and a sweet little arrangement of shops. There was the coffee shop, a soap and candle shop (It smelled luxurious), a leather, woodworking, and hat shop, a food store (mostly homemade food:), cheese cave, greenhouse, and a textile shop. The especially neat thing was that these people combined their talents and treasures to create beautiful things! It was incredible to see all that they can do working together for the glory of God and to serve those around them! There was one man who was basically the builder of all the things there. His business is that he restores old barns, so most of the buildings were the restored barn/old timber style buildings. They were so pretty! These people also converted some old silos into airbnbs! I’d like to stay in there, round rooms fascinate me! We spent the night in our camper though.

New tires!
